Scraggle

A 6-year-old built Scraggle at the kitchen table — a yarn ball cat with button eyes, a tangled coat of purple and mint, and pink paws that were never going to be anything other than exactly that. Aethara animated her in handmade textile style, every loose thread and layered yarn preserved exactly as built. She drew it at the kitchen table. We turned it into a custom animated character. Nothing unraveled. Nothing straightened out.
